| DIVAS AND DIVOS IN DUPONT CIRCLE Washington, DC -- ChDu International Modeling Agency, LLC in association with Whitman Walker Clinic will present on Saturday, November 4, 2006, “Divas and Divos in DuPont Circle.” What’s a “Divo” or a “Diva”? Divo and Diva are both Italian words meaning “star” or “celebrity”. Divo is used for a man, and Diva is for a woman. The event will be about bringing out the star or Divo and Diva in you! It will be a fun day, where women and members of the Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender community can come together to explore the many facets of DuPont Circle and DuPont Circle North and shop at the various boutiques and businesses that the corridor has to offer. In association with Whitman Walker Clinic’s continued effort to bring HIV/AIDS awareness to the DC metro community, “Divas and Divos in DuPont Circle” will try to increase awareness of the various health initiatives which effect both women and members of the L/G/B/T community locally, nationally, and globally. Topics will include HIV/AIDS Awareness, Domestic Violence, Health and Wellness, and Financial Reciprocity. Goody bags with items from DuPont Circle boutiques and national businesses will be provided to all participants who purchase a ticket. Businesses in the DuPont Circle Business district are encouraged to participant as a sponsor.
